Good wedding details do a job as well as look right. Before choosing a material or colour, decide what guests need to see, find or use.
Make names easy to read
Try a full-size sample at the table and lighting level you expect. A small script that looks clear on a screen may be difficult to read across a crowded table.
Give signs a sensible home
Ask the venue where a welcome board can stand safely. Check the route past it, the stability of the stand and who will move it if the weather changes.
Pack less, plan the handover
For a destination wedding, list the items you will carry, ship or hire locally. Give a named person the final names list and a photograph of the intended setup.
Read the planning guide before you commit to decorative purchases.
Useful details can travel between celebrations. Our notes cover readable signs, table settings and selected Australian ideas, with the setting and supplier arrangements made clear.
